Where can I use my RD Petroleum Fuel Card?
Your RDP Fuel Card can be used at all RDP fuel sites across the South Island, as well as BP and G.A.S. petrol stations nationwide. This gives you access to one of New Zealand’s largest combined fuel networks for consistent pricing and convenience.
Do you charge annual or transaction fees?
No. RDP Fuel Cards come with no annual fees, no joining fees, and no transaction fees. You only pay for the fuel you purchase.
Do I get 24/7 access with my card?
Yes. All RDP sites are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving you full access to refuelling whenever you need it. BP and G.A.S. sites follow their own trading hours but provide extensive nationwide coverage.
Can I get cards for multiple vehicles or drivers?
Yes. Each person or vehicle can have its own card under one account. You’ll need to complete a User Form for each cardholder during application.
What information will I receive on my monthly statement?
You’ll receive a detailed summary showing each transaction, card number, location, date, and time, helping you track usage across your fleet. Statements are GST-substantiated and suitable for accounting or reimbursement records.
How do I apply for an RDP Fuel Card?
You can apply online or download the Sign Up Form, Direct Debit Form, and User Form from our website. Once submitted, our team will review your application and contact you with next steps.

Can businesses and individuals both apply?
Yes. We offer cards for both individual drivers and business fleets. Business applicants can request multiple cards and set spending limits or monitoring preferences through our account team.
What happens if I lose my card?
Contact RDP immediately on 0800 44 00 14. We’ll cancel the lost card, issue a replacement, and ensure your account remains secure.
Can I add new cards to an existing account?
Yes. Existing customers can add or remove cards at any time through our online form or by contacting customer support. Our RDP App can also manage the cards stored on your account.
What payment options are available?
All accounts operate on direct debit. Payments are processed monthly based on your statement cycle, with a clear breakdown of all fuel purchases.
