From the Driver's Seat: Calves at Ikawai

This week's shot comes from Matthew, out at Ikawai, with some very curious company.

Matthew had just pulled up on a farm delivery when three calves wandered straight over to say hello, nose to bumper with the truck before he'd even had a chance to get out. Moments like this are one of the small perks of rural delivery work, you never quite know who's going to turn up to greet you.
It's a good reminder of the kind of properties our drivers visit week to week, right in among the farm animals that make up daily life on the land.
