From the Driver's Seat: Eglinton Valley

This week's shot comes from David, on a run through the Eglinton Valley.

Delivery: Fuel transport
David pulled over roadside for this one, with the tussock flats of the Eglinton Valley opening out toward the mountains under a heavy sky. This stretch of the Milford Road is one of the more spectacular drives in the country, wide open valley floor giving way to steep, forested peaks, and it's all part of a normal day's work getting fuel through to Fiordland.
It's a good reminder of just how remote some of our delivery routes get, even while staying right on a well-travelled state highway.
