This week's shot comes from Chris, on a rural run above the Waiau River, near Hanmer Springs.

Chris pulled over on a high point above the river for this one, with the Waiau winding through farmland below and snow-capped peaks holding on in the distance. Runs through this part of North Canterbury take drivers along some genuinely striking backcountry, with the odd river crossing and gravel stretch thrown in for good measure.
It's a good reminder of just how varied the terrain gets on the way to keeping rural properties and farms across the region fuelled up.
