Every Thursday, we're handing the camera over to the people who know our roads best, our drivers. Each week one of the team sends in their favourite shot from a delivery, and we share it here along with a bit about where it was taken and what they were up to.
This week's shot comes from Paul, delivering to the Otago Rescue Helicopters Base in Otago.
Driver: Paul
Route/Location: Otago Rescue Helicopters base, Otago
Delivery: Jet A1 aviation fuel
Paul pulled in for a Jet A1 delivery at Otago Rescue Helicopters, the kind of stop where you're reminded just how much rides on getting fuel there reliably. A rescue helicopter running low isn't an option, so deliveries like this one are about precision and timing as much as anything else.
It's one of the parts of the job the team takes real pride in, knowing that fuel we deliver keeps critical services like search and rescue in the air when they're needed most.
