Tucked in below the Remarkables, this site keeps Queenstown's skydiving operation running, which means reliable aviation fuel, rain or shine, with some of the best scenery in the country as a backdrop. Hayden pulled the RD Petroleum Aviation tanker up alongside the site's bulk storage for a routine top-up, with the mountains doing their best to steal the shot.
It's a good reminder of the range of places our drivers end up in a single week, from quiet rural routes to sites like this one, where the fuel we deliver is what keeps entire operations in the air (literally).
