Southern Field Days returned to Waimumu, near Gore, from 11–13 February 2026, bringing three days of innovation, competition, machinery, and rural pride to Southland. With around 700 site holders and more than 800 exhibits spread across the site, it's one of the biggest dates on the Southland calendar, and the RD Petroleum team was proud to be right in the middle of it.
Over the three days, we had a steady stream of familiar faces and new ones stopping by the RDP site, some for a chat about their fuel setup, some just to take a swing at our Sticky Golf. Either way, it was awesome catching up with so much of our community in one place.
Field Days like this are as much about the conversations as anything on show. We talked bulk fuel, on-farm delivery, fuel cards, and our 24/7 sites, the everyday stuff that keeps farms, contractors, and businesses across the region moving. It's a good reminder of just how many different operations we get to support and why staying close to the people we work with matters.
